For those unfamiliar, TechCrunch50 provides a platform for 50 early-stage, and frequently unfunded, companies to launch for the first time to the industry's most influential capitalists, corporations, investors and media. The excitement runs over three days, September 8-10 with the top presenting company receiving the Best in Show Award and $50,000 prize. There will also be more than 100 semi-finalists showing off their companies in the demo pit area vying for one slot left open to join the TC50 on stage.
